The training course equipped trainees with knowledge about the level of danger and how to identify types explosive remnants of war to clearly understand the reporting mechanism and safe practices when detecting items of explosive. In addition, the trainees were also given an overview of QTMAC's model and a map of explosive contamination in Huong Hoa district.
At the end of the training course, the trainees are evaluated through a test. According to Mr. Dinh Ngoc Vu, Deputy Director of QTMAC, the training course achieved its goals with 100% of trainees receiving certificates of completion. QTMAC also gave each trainee an identification book, providing information and images of common types of explosive remnants of war in Quang Tri, helping participants to be more confident when identifying suspected objects as explosive remnants of war.
At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the trainees, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan expressed his gratitude to QTMAC and the Military Command of Huong Hoa district for their cooperation in organizing this training course. He shared: "After this training course, we have learned more about various types of explosive remnants of war, first steps in handling them and know how to warn and report so that collection and disposal can be done quickly, ensuring the safety of the community against the dangers of many types of explosive remnants of war".
Now, the trainees can become the main force in the coordination, prevention and handling of explosive remnants of war, contributing to reducing the risk and damage caused by explosive remnants of war in the locality.
