Today (October 12), the leader of the People's Committee of Ai Tu town (Trieu Phong district) said that the unit coordinated with the police force to inspect the tunnel brick factory M.H. stationed in the area after the bullet explosion just happened. At about 3am this morning, when the conveyor belt of the brick factory was bringing soil into the grinding wheel to produce bricks, suddenly an unidentified bullet exploded.

The explosion caused many machinery to be damaged, cracked, and a part of the corrugated iron roof was blown off. Fortunately, the explosion caused no injuries.
The leader of the tunnel brick factory M.H said that before that, the factory had cleared landmines for brick production, but somehow there was still a missing bullet.

According to the factory leader, the unit is urgently overcoming the consequences of the explosion. This is also a lesson learned in the upcoming operation to ensure more safety.

It is known that Quang Tri is the most contaminated province in the country, with 83% of the area, so bombs and mines and explosives are still a big threat to people and communities here. Ammunition can still be present everywhere, even in the fields and gardens, in the fields where it has been cultivated for many years.
