At the conference, delegates focused on a comprehensive review of the Steering Committee’s achievements over the past five years and orientations for the 2026-2035 period. These include specific objectives such as making Quang Tri into a “Safe Province”, free from the dangers of explosive ordnance to local people and socio-economic development.
The province will continue to reduce both the number of accidents and casualties caused by explosive ordnance; support explosive ordnance victims in reintegrating into society; and mobilize international, central, and local resources for mine action activities, thereby contributing to poverty reduction and promoting local socio-economic growth.
